Become a Member

Full RaidGuild membership recognizes sustained contribution, trusted relationships, and readiness to participate in DAO governance.

Before You Seek a Champion​

Build enough shared context for a member to vouch for your work and judgment:

  • contribute meaningfully to at least one Raid or RIP;
  • attend Guild meetings available to you;
  • communicate reliably and follow through on commitments; and
  • demonstrate alignment with the Guild’s values and Code of Conduct.

Membership Steps​

  1. Find a current member to Champion you. The Champion should not be the host who approved your cohort demo.
  2. Join Raider Roundtable with your Champion. Championing is public: the member announces the relationship, explains why you are ready, and invites member feedback.
  3. Prepare the membership proposal. Your Champion helps you submit the onchain proposal and makes sure members have the context needed to vote.
  4. Contribute the membership buy-in. The current new-member package is 500 wxDAI for 100 shares.
  5. Complete the proposal process. If the proposal passes and is processed, your shares unlock onchain proposals, votes, and the other rights described in Raid Guild Shares.
  6. Synchronize Discord access. Follow the current Guild.XYZ and role-sync instructions in Discord.

The 500 wxDAI / 100 share package was confirmed during the August 2026 audit, but DAO parameters can change. Check current DAO settings before submitting funds or a proposal.

Membership and Paid Work Are Different​

DAO shares provide governance rights; they do not automatically make someone eligible for payment. Paid Raid contributors must separately register with RaidGuild LLC and complete light KYC.
